ACRYLIC ON SCRAPER BOARD



This image of a tree branch climbing up a façade was painted in acrylic on white scraper board. Thick paint and washes were used to portray the fence, wall and window and then scraped into to add texture and detail. The branch was first scratched away from the dark paint and then details were added after.--- Kathy Gales.
