The Commuter

Size:

29.7 x 42 cm

Medium:

Photograph on bordered c-type paper

Artwork detail:

A triple exposure, which uses lines and geometry to create confusion and a sense of unease, to reflect the organised chaos of travelling in Tokyo.

Most of Adam Isfendiyar's printed artwork comes from his travels in East Asia, which is where he has spent the majority of the last ten years of his life - one year in China and 8

years in Japan.

Photos and imagery have contributed a lot to his endless fascination with other cultures and he has always had a burning desire to tell stories of human experiences through his lens.
